Matthew Blum represents clients in matters concerning Labor Law, property damage, product liability, premises liability and general negligence. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Blum prosecuted and defended complex civil cases concerning, finance, construction, unfair competition, dispositions of real property, and securities actions involving total bond-values approaching one billion dollars. Further, Mr. Blum has served as special counsel and advisor to national banks on defensive strategies to various New York-specific litigation.

Affiliations, Activities & Accomplishments

In law school, Mr. Blum founded an association that provided language-learning resources to students and lawyers, assisting lawyers with developing conversational skills in foreign languages. Mr. Blum served as subcommittee chairperson on a Nassau County Bar Association task force committee designed to provide legal services to disadvantaged communities.

Earning his J.D. and M.B.A. in Corporate Finance concurrently, Mr. Blum graduated with Distinction, the highest honors given to a Masters candidate.
